Common Questions
Trust & Clarity
Security & Compliance
Scrivora is built to meet GDPR and the UK Data Protection Act 2018. We provide a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) for every clinical account, data is encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.2+ as standard on Google Cloud, and the right to erasure is implemented in the product rather than promised in a policy. We hold no ISO 27001, SOC 2 or HITRUST certification and we do not claim one.
Clinical records are stored in Google Cloud Platform's europe-west1 region, in Belgium - the only region we run in. Some processing happens with named providers that may run outside the EU: the AI provider your clinic chooses transcribes audio and drafts notes, Twilio carries telephone calls, and Stripe handles payments. Each is listed in our Privacy Policy with where it operates and the transfer safeguards in place. We do not offer US data residency.
Scrivora does not train models on your patient data. Transcripts go to the AI provider your clinic chooses, under your clinic's own key and agreement with that provider, only to produce the notes and reports you ask for - choose a paid or business tier whose terms exclude training. Your data remains your own.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing support@scrivora.co from your clinic’s registered address; we confirm within one working day. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly billing period. You keep full access until then, and nothing further is charged. Fees already paid for the current monthly period are not refunded, and partial months are not credited. If you are a new customer, you may cancel within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund that payment in full. Scrivora does not take, hold or refund patient booking deposits. Any deposit a patient pays is paid to the clinic under the clinic’s own cancellation policy, which the clinic sets and the app only displays.
Integration
None yet. Scrivora has no EMR, EHR or PMS integration today, and we will not list one until it is built and tested against a live system. Scrivora runs as a standalone clinical portal, with two-way Google Calendar sync for appointments and structured JSON export so your data can move where you need it.
We are pre-launch, so we have no deployment history to quote an average from. Onboarding is done directly with the founder, one clinic at a time, and you will get a date we can actually hold to rather than a number we have not tested.
AI Capabilities
No. Scrivora is an administrative assistant, not a triage system. It does not assess symptoms or detect emergencies. Route urgent and out-of-hours calls to your existing emergency pathway, and make sure patients know to call 999 or 112 directly in an emergency.
English only at present. We will not claim multilingual support until it has been tested against clinical vocabulary in each language - a mistranscription in a clinical note is not a cosmetic error.
Still have questions?
Scrivora is founder-led. You will speak to a GMC-registered doctor, not a sales team.
