Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 October 2026
These Terms of Service are a contract between the clinic that registers an account ("you", "the clinic") and Stormlick Ltd (company number NI653683, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom), trading as Scrivora AI ("we", "Scrivora"). They govern your use of the Scrivora platform in the United Kingdom, Ireland and the European Union. By creating an account you accept them.
1. Who may use Scrivora
Scrivora is a service for healthcare organisations. Accounts are opened by a clinic and used by people the clinic authorises: its clinicians, administrators and office staff.
- You must be at least 18 years old and authorised by your clinic to use the service on its behalf.
- The person who registers the clinic confirms they have authority to bind it to these terms.
- Each person must use their own login. Sharing logins is not permitted, because the audit record must show who did what.
- Scrivora is not for patients to use directly. Patients interact with their clinic, which uses Scrivora.
2. Clinical oversight
Scrivora is an assistive tool. It drafts; it does not decide. Every AI-generated output, including consultation notes, assessment reports, prescriptions, call summaries and outreach messages, must be reviewed, corrected where needed and approved by a qualified clinician before any clinical action is taken or any document is relied on.
The clinician who finalises a document is responsible for its content. Scrivora is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and must not be used as the sole basis for a diagnosis or treatment decision.
3. AI-generated content and intellectual property
- Your data is yours. The clinic owns its patient records, recordings, transcripts and every document produced from them, including AI drafts. You grant Scrivora only the licence it needs to provide the service.
- We do not train AI models on your data. Transcripts and records are sent to the AI provider the clinic has chosen, named in the Privacy Policy, solely to produce the output you asked for. Because the clinic supplies its own key for that provider, the clinic’s agreement with the provider governs what the provider may do with the data; use a paid or business tier whose terms exclude training.
- The platform is ours. Scrivora owns the software, prompts, templates, designs and trade marks. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or build a competing product from them.
- AI output can be wrong, incomplete or biased. Section 2 applies to all of it.
4. Data protection
- For patient data, the clinic is the data controller and Scrivora is a data processor, acting on the clinic’s instructions.
- Our Privacy Policy sets out what we process, why, where, for how long and with which sub-processors. A signed Data Processing Agreement is available on request from support@scrivora.co and forms part of these terms once signed.
- Clinical records are stored in the European Union (Google Cloud, Belgium).
- The clinic is responsible for its own lawful basis, for telling patients how their data is used, and for obtaining any consent needed to record a consultation or a telephone call in its jurisdiction.
- Children’s records (for example ADHD and autism assessments) are processed on the clinic’s instruction, with the clinic holding the parent or guardian’s consent where required.
5. Fees, cancellation and refunds
- Subscription fees are shown on the Pricing page, are billed monthly in advance, and are processed by Stripe. Prices exclude VAT unless stated.
- Cancelling. You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing support@scrivora.co from your clinic’s registered address; we confirm within one working day. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly billing period. You keep full access until then, and nothing further is charged.
- No refund of the current month. Fees already paid for the current monthly period are not refunded, and partial months are not credited.
- 30-day refund for new customers. If you are a new customer, you may cancel within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund that payment in full.
- Free trials. A free trial is free. If a trial converts to a paid plan, the 30-day new-customer refund runs from the first payment, not from the start of the trial.
- Patient booking deposits. Scrivora does not take, hold or refund patient booking deposits. Any deposit a patient pays is paid to the clinic under the clinic’s own cancellation policy, which the clinic sets and the app only displays.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email; the new price applies from your next billing period after the notice.
- After cancellation you may export your data for 30 days, after which we delete it from our live systems as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use Scrivora to: break the law or a professional regulator’s rules; process data you have no right to process; send unsolicited marketing; attempt to access another clinic’s data; probe, overload or interfere with the service; or upload malicious code. We may suspend an account that does any of these, and will tell you why.
7. Availability and support
We aim for the service to be available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may take it offline briefly for maintenance and will give notice where we can. Support is by email at support@scrivora.co, answered within one working day.
8. Liability
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law.
- Subject to that, Scrivora’s total liability to the clinic in any 12-month period is limited to the fees the clinic paid in that period.
- Scrivora is not liable for clinical decisions, which remain the clinician’s (section 2), nor for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost business.
- The clinic is responsible for keeping its own backups of exported records and for the accuracy of the data it enters.
9. Ending the agreement
You may end it at any time as described in section 5. We may end it on 30 days’ notice, or immediately for a serious breach of these terms or for non-payment after a reminder. On ending, section 5 governs refunds and data export.
10. Governing law
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
